THE COLORED CARDS

The Coloured Cards are a form of divination. While they are classified and taught in Prayer Magic, they are also a form of shadow magic. Many witches and wizards believe that such cards can act as portals and gateways for demons, black spirits and dark energies, though the Communion Council begs to differ. They choose not to believe in superstitions.
– There are seventy eight cards in a coloured card deck.
– Every coloured card is based off a story in either the past, present or the future.
– The Coloured Cards are written, revised, painted and created by the Wizards of Space.
– The Wizards of Space live at The Space Gate.
– The Coloured Cards are re-made whenever the Ruling Pharaoh deems it necessary.
– The Pharaoh can have one card, or the entire deck, remade.
– The Coloured Cards can be used for foretelling the future, for prying out omens, as portals for demonic work and for psychological reflection. The Coloured Cards are most-commonly used as a form of divination, however.

THE WOOD WITCH’S TAROT

The best way to describe The Colored Cards is: they’re a tarot deck. I did base all the designs of The Colored Cards off of a standard-normal tarot deck, although some of the cards I did change quite a bit about their original meanings to help them fit with the story – that was originally The Canvas Curse, that became A Cry Of Canvaeses, that is going to culivate into – The Wood Witch.

The Colored Cards are actually one of the reasons my books failed. I lost focus. I let the Cards and the painting of them distract me from my craft, which is writing, and not painting. And, I got too hung up on them.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

So, before I decided to use The Colored Cards as a cover feature/design, they were intentionally created to promote The Wood Witch but that kind of failed miserably aswell.

The reason my promotional idea failed is because I did that thing – you know when all an author ever posts about is their book – I did that, except with the paintings/ coloured cards (my bad.)
